Craft@25 offers a diverse range of workshops from Bargello to Macramé. Our workshops run from Wednesday to Sunday. All materials are supplied for every workshop. Jesmonite Coaster Workshop
Join us for a 2-hour craft workshop where you'll create two of your own coasters or jewellery tray using eco-friendly Jesmonite with terrazzo chips and gold/silver/rose gold leaf, finished naturally with a coconut oil seal. Dive into creativity while exploring the versatility of Jesmonite in crafting functional art pieces. Class suitable for beginners. Please not that there is a 30 minute drying time in this class where you can have a chat, drink and nibbles.
This workshop is suitable for ages 12 and up, all under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Bargello Needlepoint Embroidery Workshop
Join us for a 2 hour Bargello coaster workshop, inspired by the craft's origins in Hungary, the UK, and Italy, where you'll create two coasters using plastic canvas and wool, finished elegantly with a cork base. Discover the intricate art of Bargello while crafting functional and stylish pieces for your home. Class suitable for beginners.
Jesmonite Tray & Ring Holder Workshop
Join us for a creative Jesmonite class where you'll have the opportunity to craft your very own Jesmonite Jewellery Tray and Ring Holder set. Choose from a variety of colours to match your style and take home these beautiful pieces to adorn your house and dressing table.
Don't worry if you're new to this craft - our workshop is designed for beginners, and our experienced instructor will guide you every step of the way.

Macrame Hairband Workshop
All materials included - In this delightful two hour macramé class, you'll learn how to create a beautiful hairband from scratch which you can create in a variety of colours. Starting with a blank hairband, you'll add your touch by hand-sewing embellishments and mastering macramé knotting techniques. By the end of the workshop, you'll walk away with a unique and elegant accessory to cherish, perfect for yourself or as a thoughtful gift.

Tray Collage Workshop

In this engaging class dedicated to collage creation, you will learn how to piece together your own unique story by using a selection of second hand magazines and photo copies of personal photos which you can bring yourself or we can print them for you at the studio! You'll craft your narrative onto a bamboo tray, adding a protective varnish for a professional finish. Plus, you will have a letter of your choice to add collage to, which can be attached to your tray, or you can make a keyring out of it.
Don't worry if you're new to collage work - this workshop is specifically designed for beginners, so you can relax and relish the experience of expressing yourself in a creative way.

Spooky Halloween Jesmonite Tray Workshop
'
Tis the season for spooky crafting! Join us for one of our Halloween-themed workshops where you will create a jesmonite with spooky details. It is the perfect piece to hold your favourite sweets and treats (wrapped goods only!).
In this workshop, you will craft a small trinket tray embellished with a spooky jesmonite motif. You will also have the opportunity to elevate your creation using gold, silver, or copper leafing. Over the course of two hours, you will learn how to weigh, measure, and pour this eco-friendly resin, and you will create your festive motif by hand using our custom stencils.
By the end of the class, you will walk away with a beautifully finished tray to display at home for generations, along with a Halloween-inspired goody bag.
Refreshments and spooky snacks are included. All crafting materials are provided.

Mindfully Embroidery Mini Hoop Pendant Workshop
Let me introduce Jules craft@25’s guest maker for this two hour workshop. Jules Mayouf is an expert textile maker, tutor, and author who creates modern, upcycled designs combining quilting, mixed media, and hand-stitching. A frequent TV guest designer and craft show demonstrator, she teaches all skill levels and is currently writing a book on textile-fusion bag-making. Slow down, settle in, and enjoy a beautifully mindful hand embroidery session with Jules. In this relaxed workshop, you’ll create your very own embroidered pendant a tiny piece of wearable art that’s as calming to stitch as it is lovely to wear.
Jules has designed a charming selection of motifs for you to choose from, and she’ll guide you through tracing your design before you ease into a peaceful stitching rhythm. You’ll learn three essential beginner stitches running stitch, back stitch and lazy daisy and once you’re feeling confident, Jules will introduce you to more decorative favourites such as French knots, satin stitch and chain stitch to bring your motif to life.
When your embroidery is complete, Jules will show you how to construct your pendant using simple hotglue and fabricglue techniques. Be warned: these mini hoops are addictive, and they make perfect gifts.
Your workshop kit includes a pendant frame, fabric and embroidery floss everything you need to get started. You’ll also take home a bonus project to create a pair of embroidered earrings in unique designs, complete with full written instructions. All you’ll need at home is glue.
Basic handsewing skills are helpful, and if you use reading glasses, please bring them along.

Lockerhooking Coaster Workshop
Let me introduce Jules craft@25’s guest maker for this two hour workshop. Jules Mayouf is an expert textile maker, tutor, and author who creates modern, upcycled designs combining quilting, mixed media, and hand-stitching. A frequent TV guest designer and craft show demonstrator, she teaches all skill levels and is currently writing a book on textile-fusion bag-making. Locker hooking has been around for over a century hugely popular from the 1920s to the 1940s and originally part of the “make do and mend” era. Today, it’s enjoying a well deserved revival thanks to our love of recycling, upcycling and sustainable crafting.
Using openweave canvas and a mix of fabric and yarn, you’ll create a sturdy, beautifully textured woven coaster. Jules will introduce you to different types of canvas bases and guide you through a variety of textile and yarn options so you can explore colour, texture and pattern in your own unique way.
You’ll learn how to use the special lockerhooking tool, discover how the weaving process works, and see how this versatile technique can be used to make all sorts of practical and decorative items placemats, trivets, hotpads, mug rugs, wall hangings, even bags. Once you get the hang of it, the possibilities really are endless.
Jules will walk you through finishing techniques to complete your project neatly and confidently. No prior experience is needed just enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new.
You’ll also take home a bonus pack containing your own hooking tool and enough canvas to make three more coasters, along with full written instructions so you can continue your lockerhooking journey at home.

The Art of Boro and Sashiko Pouch Workshop
Let me introduce Jules craft@25’s guest maker for this two hour workshop. Jules Mayouf is an expert textile maker, tutor, and author who creates modern, upcycled designs combining quilting, mixed media, and hand-stitching. A frequent TV guest designer and craft show demonstrator, she teaches all skill levels and is currently writing a book on textile-fusion bag-making. Join Jules for a beautifully relaxed textile workshop exploring the Japanese art of Boro and the mindful stitching tradition of Sashiko. This session is perfect for anyone who loves slow stitching, heritage crafts or simply wants to create something meaningful with fabric.
Jules will begin by introducing you to the story behind Boro a practical, resourceful technique born during a time when Japanese ports were closed and fabric was scarce. Families stitched, layered and repaired cloth out of necessity, creating textiles that were both functional and deeply personal. Today, these techniques have found new life in our modern passion for recycling, upcycling and sustainable textile making, as well as in the calming rhythm of slow stitching.
You’ll work with a curated mix of fabrics linens, silks, velour, cottons and more in varied weights and textures, paired with cotton perle and traditional sashiko threads. Jules will guide you through the piecing process and show you how to work the classic sashiko stitch to build your own unique layered textile.
You will also learn how to use a design sheet and printed interfacing as stitching guides, perfect for creating more intricate sashiko patterns with confidence.
Once your fabric panel is complete, you’ll transform it into a simple lined pouch. Printed instructions are included so you can finish your pouch at home if needed. Fabric selections will vary, ensuring every maker leaves with a truly individual piece.
